Neither submitting an electronic order form or completing the check-out process constitutes Lauf Forks´s acceptence of an order.

A receipt of payment does not mean that Lauf Forks has accepted an order. Lauf Forks receives the right to return the payment if the order is refused.

If your order is for some reason rejected you will be informed as soon as possible.

Applicable Law

The contract is subject to Icelandic law, which complies with EU/EEA consumer legislation. You may also have further mandatory rights under the statutory law of the country or state of your habitual residence.

Contract Language

English is the language offered to conclude the contract.

Characteristics of the Lauf Trail Racer – Intended Use

The Lauf Trail Racer is a carbon suspension fork intended for cross-country cycling on mountain bicycles.

The Lauf Trail Racer has 60 mm of suspension and is made to absorb small to medium sized bumps in cross-country terrain.

THE LAUF TRAIL RACER IS NOT INTENDED FOR DOWNHILL MOUNTAIN BIKING.

THE LAUF TRAIL RACER IS NOT INTENDED FOR DIRTJUMPING.

Prices

The prices of the Lauf Trail Racer are stated in US Dollars in the on-line shop. Prices are exclusive of taxes, custom duties and delivery costs.

Customs and taxes

Custom and tax duties vary from country to country and/or state to state. Your purchase may be subject to custom and/or tax duties. For best advice, contacting your local customs office is recommended.

Delivery Costs and Terms

During the process of ordering Lauf Forks offers you two delivery options:
1) Standard.
2) Express.
The choice is up to you. Further information on delivery costs, terms and tracking are provided by the logistics company performing the delivery.

Payment Arrangements

Lauf Forks accepts credit card payments. Fork and shipping is charged in advance.

Pricing errors

If a genuine error is discovered in the price of your Lauf Trail Racer you will be informed as soon as possible. Lauf Forks is under no obligation to fulfil an order if an error occurs in its pricing.

Place of Delivery

The Lauf Trail Racer will be delivered to the delivery address submitted by you.

Order Execution

Lauf Forks will execute your order within 30 days from the day following that on which you forwarded your order to Lauf Forks, provided that the goods are in stock. If the goods are unavailable you will be informed of this situation and will be able to obtain a refund of any sums you have paid as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

Right of withdrawal

You can withdraw from the contract without penalty and without giving any reason within 14 days from the time of delivery, if the fork is new. If the fork has been used, you can also withdraw from the contract within 14 days, stating the reason for the return. Where the right of withdrawal has been exercised by you pursuant to this, Lauf Forks is obliged to reimburse the sums paid by you free of charge. The only charge made to you because of the exercise of this right of withdrawal is the direct cost of returning the goods. Such reimbursement will be carried out as soon as possible and in any case within 30 days.

WARRANTY

LAUF FORKS WARRANTS ITS PRODUCTS TO BE FREE FROM MANUFACTURING FAULTS AND DEFECTS FOR A PERIOD OF FIVE YEARS AFTER THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE. THIS WARRANTY ONLY APPLIES TO THE ORIGINAL BUYER AND IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. PROOF OF PURCHASE IS REQUIRED WITH ALL POTENTIAL WARRANTY CLAIMS. ANY ITEM REPLACED UNDER THIS WARRANTY WILL BE COVERED BY A WARRANTY PERIOD EQUAL TO THE REMAINING PART OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD OF THE ORIGINAL ITEM.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU ADDITIONAL RIGHTS BEYOND MANDATORY STATUTORY RIGHTS.

LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY

LAUF FORKS DOES NOT WARRANT AGAINST FAILURE OR DAMAGE DUE TO MISUSE SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, INCORRECT INSTALLATION OR ADJUSTMENT, POOR MAINTENANCE, NEGLECT AND ALTERNATION OF THE PRODUCT, UNLESS EXPRESSLY PERMITTED BY LAUF FORKS.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY TO DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT CAUSED BY A CRASH IMPACT, ABUSE OF THE PRODUCT, NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPECIFICATIONS OF ITS USAGE (INTENDED USE) OR ANY OTHER CIRCUMSTANCES IN WHICH THE PRODUCT HAS BEEN SUBJECT TO FORCES OR LOADS BEYOND ITS DESIGN.

THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT APPLY WHEN THE SERIAL NUMBER OR PRODUCTION CODE HAS BEEN DELIBERATELY ALTERED, DEFACED OR REMOVED.

THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER GENERAL WEAR AND TEAR OF THE PRODUCT.

ULTRAVIOLET RADIATION DETERIORATION OF CARBON FIBER STRUCTURES AND/OR GLASS FIBER SPRINGS CAUSED BY THE FORK BEING STORED OVER EXTENDED PERIODS OF TIME WHERE EXPOSED TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT WILL NOT BE COVERED UNDER THIS WARRANTY.

Lack of Conformity

If you detect a lack of conformity you must inform Lauf Forks within a period of two months from the date on which you detected it.

If lack of conformity is confirmed within the warranty period Lauf Forks will replace your Lauf Trail Racer and cover the necessary costs incurred to bring the goods into conformity.

Dispute Resolution

The parties of this Agreement shall attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If an amicable agreement is not reached, you can sumbit a notification to

Jurisdiction
